Associate Assistant Deputy Minister

As Associate Assistant Deputy Minister for Real Property Services (RPS), Michael is responsible for providing strategic and corporate support to the Assistant Deputy Minister in the management and operations of RPS. He also provides a national functional leadership role for the real property business lines.
Michael came to Public Services and Procurement Canada from PPP Canada on August 14, 2017, where he was vice-president of Investments. In this role, Michael and his team assisted clients from all levels of government with the development of sound public – private partnerships, including procurement and implementation strategies.
Michael has experience in the development of acquisition implementation strategies, as well as in Aboriginal policy. He holds a bachelor of arts in political science and economics from the University of Regina and a master of arts in economics from Queen's University.Back to speakers
