Vicente Maraña is Executive Vice-President at ACS Infrastructure. His 20 years of international experience in procurement of large-scale infrastructure have provided him with insightful knowledge on P3 schemes and their application to transportation and accommodation sectors.
Head of ACS’ Toronto office since 2012, Mr. Maraña has been responsible during this time for asset origination in the Canadian P3 market. Under his mandate ACS’ P3 portfolio has grown in excess of CAD 15bn in total capital value, becoming the largest North American private portfolio of transportation infrastructure. Assets include the Gordie Howe International Bridge (2018), the Eglinton LRT (2015), the New Champlain Bridge (2015) and the Confederation Line LRT (2012).
Mr. Maraña has also a proven track record in the provision of technical and transaction advice to contracting authorities, developers and funders in international P3 infrastructure projects. In 2011 he co-founded Infrata Limited, a specialty Project Finance advisory firm based in London (UK) that has grown rapidly to become a recognized player in the industry.
He started his professional career planning and developing feasibility studies of high-speed railway corridors in Spain as part of the Madrid-based engineering firm Sener. Vicente holds a Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering and Infrastructure Finance from the Madrid Polytechnic University.Back to speakers
