Canada Infrastructure Bank Transition Office
Steve is an executive in the Government of Canada, where he serves as Senior Director of the Canada Infrastructure Bank Transition Office, situated within Infrastructure Canada. In this position, he oversees all aspects of the establishment of the proposed Canada Infrastructure Bank, including legislation and governance, leadership, organizational design, stakeholder engagement and review of early projects.
Steve has also worked on infrastructure investment and public-private partnerships within the Government of Ontario, including at the Ontario SuperBuild Corporation, the Ontario Ministry of Public Infrastructure Renewal, and Infrastructure Ontario. After having been part of the team that implemented Ontario’s Alternative Financing and Procurement (AFP) program, including the stand-up of Infrastructure Ontario, he worked as a project coordinator for a number of public-private partnerships transactions.
Since moving to Ottawa, Steve has also held positions at the Department of Finance and the Privy Council Office focused on international finance, Crown corporation governance and oversight, as well as foreign policy.
Steve holds a Masters degree in Business Administration from the Schulich School of Business.Back to speakers
